Gemmico released GrabCtrl 1.0, an easy-to-use Windows utility that allows to grab the text stored in lists, combo boxes, trees, menus and other controls from various applications running on your system. Captured text then may be exported to either text or HTML files using different templates or copied to the clipboard.

GrabCtrl software can be used as an additional tool for the next popular applications

Windows Explorer
  • create List of Files - just drop LIST icon on Windows Explorer window
  • create Tree of Folders - just drop TREE icon on Windows Explorer's "Folders" window


    • Outlook Express
  • create lists of e-mails, contacts, accounts
  • view password-protected fields in Account Properties


    • Internet Explorer
  • copy text blocks from the displayed internet page


    • WinZip
  • create list of files in archive


    •  as well as for many other applications for capturing

    • Note: there are some cases when GrabCtrl won't be able to grab data, because some controls are generated in-flight (only when they are activated).
